edi wins Government Award

edi (the education information portal) has won the Government Award in the 2015 Tasmanian iAwards.

The iAwards honour organisations at the cutting edge of technology innovation and recognises and celebrates the achievements and innovation made in ICT across all areas of the economy.

Developed by the Department with the support of CGI, edi is an Australian-first providing teachers and Principals with fingertip access to student and school data.

Accessible anytime, anywhere by any device, edi gives staff direct access to data so they can make informed and effective decisions as well as freeing up teachers’ time to support all students.

Several other school sectors are already looking at accessing edi for their school systems.

We will now go into the national iAwards to be judged in August.

What is edi?
