Tasmanian Science Talent Search 2012 Winners

Congratulations to all the students and teachers who received prizes for their entries in the 2012 Tasmanian Science Talent Search.

The annual presentation event was held at UTAS on Sunday 3 March 2013.

Pictured are students and parents from Mr John Bardenhagen's 2012 East Launceston Primary School class.  Class members received a number of awards.

The 2013 TSTS Theme is: "Australian Science Through The Ages"

Ashleigh and Clare above received third prize in creative writing for work they completed at Princes Street Primary in 2012.

Westbury Primary students were awarded 1st and 2nd prizes for their computer presentations:
  • Sustainable Energy: Can we fix it?
  • Solar Energy: We have the power
