International Champions at St Marys District School

Students from St Marys District School were recently named champions of an international neuroscience competition.  The school won both the team and individual events at the state final of the Australian Brain Bee Challenge in Hobart.  The competition involved a series of question rounds and hands-on activities that tested grade 10 students' knowledge of memory, emotions, movement, stress, ageing and diseases.

St Marys win comes just a month after the school topped the global averages at the 2012 Language Perfect World Championships.
